Single plantation MAVA estate. Sambirano upper and lower valley, north west Madagascar. MAVA estate is 1700 hectares with 600 hectares for fine cacao. The plantation is wholly owned by the Malagasy Ramanandraibe family.
There are 2 harvests per year, and the taste profile varies around notes of toasted nuts and dried fruits, sweet with acidity and roundness, light astringency at the end.
